The Pacific Northwest is my home, and I am immersed in the fabulous creation God has entrusted to us here. As congregational leaders, we are to release God's holy creativity within this growing community of grace and peace. My journey as a professional leader of the church has been through multiple congregations and roles, lay and ordained. I graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA with a Master of Divinity degree; Princeton Theological Seminary in New Jersey with a Master of Arts in Christian Education; Vancouver School of Theology in British Columbia; and Pacific Lutheran University with a BA in Religion. I also have training in A+ Certification/Hardware and repair computers. Kayaking, golfing, baseball card collecting, and lots and lots of landscaping are my activities.

I joined the All Saints’ family in March of 2002. Thanks to the welcoming of the women, I soon became involved with WELCA, helping on many events. Helping with the auction to benefit Susan G. Komen has become a special focus. I worked in the accounting field most of my adult life and retired in 2005. I soon became a volunteer in the office at All Saints’ and in January of 2007, became co-office coordinator with Joyce Sykes. I have been married to my husband, Bill, for forty-three years. I delight in spending time with my family and friends and also curling up with a good book.

I have been a part of the All Saints’ family since 1996. My previous work experience has been in the field of travel; I was employed by Western/Delta Airlines for 25 years. I took advantage of an early retirement offered in 1993 when the airlines Seattle Reservations office closed and I held various positions in travel from 1993 until my retirement from Boeing Travel Office in 2005. I enjoy traveling, golf, and spending time with my family. Together with Edna Reel, I have been a part-time Office Coordinator at All Saints’ since January of 2007. In that capacity, I am blessed to have the opportunity to work closely with the Pastor, the council, and members of our congregation.

I am a happy new addition to the All Saints’ family! I am still relatively new to the Pacific Northwest as I am a transplant from Northwest Ohio. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Performance (Piano) from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio in 2010. I then moved to Seattle and began work on my Master’s Degree in Music Performance at the University of Washington, which I hope to complete in 2012. I have held previous Church Musician positions in Ohio for Lutheran and United Church of Christ congregations. I continue to work as a freelance accompanist and piano teacher. When I’m not making music, I take pleasure in attending concerts and symphonic performances, traveling around the world, reading in coffee shops, running, talking with family and close friends, and watching foreign films and TV shows.
