Adult Education And Small Groups

Jesus’ commandment to his disciples was to go and make disciples in all nations, baptizing them and teaching them to obey. Our adult learning offerings will help you grow in your faith and live in community with friends and neighbors.

September is the start of the school year for all ages. Please consider participating in the following learning opportunities:

Sunday Short Subjects will take place during the Sunday School hour and will feature a different subject each week.

Subjects range from current events or seasonal reflections to spiritual growth concerns.

Sunday Short Subjects will begin Sunday in September, 9:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m..

Men’s Bible Study. This group meets on Monday mornings at the Village Inn at 9:00 a.m. Share the Word and some fellowship with this men’s small group. You are welcome to join at any time.

Women’s Bible Study. This group meets on Wednesday mornings at the church at 9:30 a.m.. This study provides a great mid-week opportunity to share the Word with friends.

Thursday Night Book Study. Read the books that Christians are talking about. We select a variety of books; new releases and classics. Come find out what the next book will be. Book Study meets at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evenings at the church.

Angel's Network This group provides a warm and nutritious meal to the homeless community in and around Federal Way. This group meets on the 4th Monday of each month at Steel Lake Presbyterian Church, Come join us for an afternoon of serving. The sign up sheet is at the church.

Back to Mayberry This group meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. We start with a meal followed by an epiosode of the Andy Griffith Show. Then there is a brief Bible study based on values. All are welcome!

Saturday Morning Coffee This study group meets on Saturday mormings at 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall at the church. Join us as we journey through differnt books. Bring your friends and we'll provide the coffee!

Breaking Bread This group meets on the 4th Sunday of the month after the 11:00 a.m. We meet at a local restaurant in the community for food and fellowship.

Knitting for a Cause This group meets on the 4th Friday of each month from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the church. Learn knitting while doing it for a cause.
