We Started with Sandwiches...

 

During the summer of 2020, All Saints' Lutheran Church started providing peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and bottled water to homeless people at the Kent Community Center. The sandwiches and water were a hit! Since that small start, this ministry has grown into a weekly serving of sandwiches, water, portable snacks, toiletries, and hats, gloves, jackets and blankets during the cold winter months.

 

The supplies and volunteers for this ministry come from generous members of our congregation and other supporters of our ministry. We are delighted to support our homeless community.​​
